October 1st:
We’re back on track! We had temporarily shifted our activities to prioritize safety due to a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases between July and September. Software update for Boarditto v1.4.0 has been rescheduled for release around the 3rd week of October.
July 13th:
Boarditto v1.2.4 software is available! We’ll email all previous customers with instructions and a link within the next 24-48 hours. New shipments will include the latest version.
What’s new:
- Automatic feeder’s half-pitch mode (for 0402) is now available
- The software checks and warns users of any missing component libraries or feeders in the job file
- Made some improvements to the GUI and added a few buttons
- Smashed a few bugs found and reported to us by the community (thanks everyone!)
Version 1.2.4 is a mini software update mainly to get the bug fixes out first. New features have already been developed and are currently being tested. The next update, v1.4.0, will be available shortly after this one.
Useful tip: you can jog with your keyboard’s arrow keys.

Pending orders are still on track to be shipped within the estimated 6-week time frame.
April 1st:
The software update Boarditto v1.2.0 is almost ready. We’ve re-scheduled the latest release to mid-April because of a sudden spike in the number of confirmed local COVID-19 cases.
March 4th:
We’re proud to announce that we’re ready to officially transition out of “Pre-order” status and make this product available for order! The $550 USD “pre-order” discount ends before the end of this month. Afterwards, the final retail price will be $2500 USD. Lead time is 6 weeks.
Feb 22nd:

Feb. 16th:
Latest status for 1st batch pre-orders:
- Hongkong Post: all remaining orders have been picked up by the courier between Feb. 14th and Feb. 15th. Orders picked up on Feb. 14th can already be tracked. Tracking information for orders picked up on Feb. 15th should appear on Monday, Feb. 17th. Shipping labels created earlier were used so the tracking numbers remain the same.
- FedEx: will be picked up by the courier on Monday morning, Feb. 17th. The shipping labels created before the Coronavirus outbreak had become invalid and were not accepted. New labels have been created for Monday and new tracking numbers will be emailed to everyone.
Feb. 12th:
We're back in the office!
For those who didn't read our previous update, the Hong Kong Government appealed to all companies to work from home to keep the number of people infected with the Coronavirus at a minumum. The Government advised everyone to wear surgical face masks whenever going out, even though there's an extreme shortage of these masks right now.
The good news is, we've finally received our supply of surgical masks.
If everything goes smoothly, we'll finish shipping out all pending pre-orders from the 1st batch between Friday, Feb. 14th and Saturday, Feb. 15th.
Jan. 29th:
Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus, which has now reached multiple countries around the world, the Hong Kong Government recently announced measures to help minimize any possibility of the virus spreading into Hong Kong, including Government employees working from home and an appeal to the private business sector to also work from home and minimize outdoor activity. Hongkong Post will remain closed until Feb. 2nd while FedEx has informed us that they will remain operational for the time being.

Out of a population of 7.5 million people in Hong Kong, only 8 cases have been confirmed from passengers (now under quarantine) that traveled from Wuhan, China to the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong. Thus, the Government is taking measures to keep it at this number.
Orders to be shipped via Hongkong Post have been tentatively re-scheduled to Feb. 3rd while orders to be shipped via FedEx will continue with less interruptions.
In the meantime, our team will still be preparing more content to post such as software tutorials, demo videos, practical tips, etc. Stay tuned!
Jan. 24th:
We’ve been very busy lately, and we’re almost done fulfilling the first batch of pre-orders! Due to the Chinese New Year Holidays, all courier services here in Hong Kong will be unavailable for the next few days until January 29, 2020. All remaining orders belonging to the first batch that couldn’t ship out today will ship out between the 29th and 30th of this month.

1. All confirmation emails for pre-orders placed before November 3, 2019 have been sent out.
2. Pre-orders placed after November 3, 2019 will be shipped within February 2020.

To all 1st batch pre-order customers, hi!
As we're getting really close to shipping out your pre-orders, we wanted to give you a more detailed update:
1. The Boarditto machines and automatic feeders are undergoing final calibration and testing. We’re wrapping things up and getting ready to package the machine and accessories.
2. Check out the image gallery above, showing the final version that we’ll be shipping out. As you may have noticed, we’ve made a number of design improvements since we first introduced this machine a few months ago. Read the captions for more details (you might need to rotate your screen to landscape mode for the captions to appear on a smartphone). More images are coming soon.
3. We expect to gradually send out the confirmation emails for all pre-orders placed before November 3rd (on a first-come-first-served basis) between the last week of December and first week of January.
Last but not least, we'd like to thank all of you for waiting patiently and allowing us enough time to fine-tune and polish the design of the Boarditto.
